How Much Do We Charge Per Square Foot?
This is probably the most common question that we receive from potential customers. The answer is actually very simple: there is no set amount per square foot that we charge.
This is because every project is different. There are many variables that can affect the cost of construction. These variables include, but are not limited to:
- The style of the home
- The location of the home
- The elevation of the property
- The amenities that you choose.
- The building codes
- Utilities
- Incidental costs
For these reasons, Copeland Custom Homes does not like to give out a set amount that we charge per square foot. The number would be unreliable and can create some confusion later if the home owner were to choose us. So, we really just want to make sure that we give the most honest answer possible.
So, to avoid confusion, we suggest that customers who are thinking about building should schedule a meeting with us so that we can sit down and discuss the whole construction process. If we are able to look at a set of plans and talk with the customer about what they want, then we will be able to give them an estimate for the total cost of the project. In this way, our number is more accurate, and we mitigate risk for confusion later down the line.
